UPDATE: Now running 10.5.8 with all updates ... check osxhpmini.info




You will need a fast usb 8G stick, and another smaller flash of some kind to load the hpmini essential files onto.
i loaded the essentials onto a 4G mms card , in the slot on the right hand side of the mini. worked like a champ.
like i said, follow the instructions EXACTLY ... any errors, and you will have to start over.
Practice makes perfect ... i can almost do the whole thing now without reading the docs ... almost :/

PS : Its actually kinda kewl as an xp machine right out of the box.
other than the obvious fact that its windoze, of course :)
PPS : highly reccomend a 2G DDR ram upgrade ... hums like a top :)

if you decide to go this route, and get stuck, and the forums are no help, you can ping me via email (on the top level page) and i'll see what i can do ... i made a lot of mistakes first couple times through ...

it is really worth all the work when you take it to startbux/etc and whip out this bitty macbook ... and all the p33ps with the honkin' big laptops start drooling
